20 April 2010: new scanner arrives
One of four brand new MRI scanners was delivered and hoisted into the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham on Tuesday 20 April, just days after Phase 1 of the building was handed over to the Trust.
The Siemens MRI 3T Magnetom Verio is part of a multi-million pound investment in a raft of innovative medical imaging technologies from Siemens Healthcare which will help the Trust deliver the best in care to its patients when the new hospital opens on 16 June.
