The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham is a regional centre of excellence for cancer, burns, trauma, spine and brain injuries. The hospital has the biggest organ transplantation programme in Europe and treats all the military personnel injured in conflict. QEHB is Birmingham's first new hospital in 70 years and cost £545 million. Yes, we have built on the strong foundation of the old QE and Selly Oak hospitals but there's always room for improvement.
