One-stop female bladder assessment clinic: important notes
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) endeavours to adhere to the seven-day national standard of reviewing referral letters once received by the practice.
UHB kindly requests that the national standards for attaching referral letters (three days for routine requests and one day for urgent requests) following the creation of the patient's Choose and Book request are followed. This is to ensure that referrals are reviewed as promptly as possible within our organisation.
The "Named Clinician" search facility is not currently available for direct booking at UHB. This will however be available when version upgrades to the hospital patient administration system (Lorenzo) take place. Information regarding the use of the "Named Clinician" search and its availability will be communicated to practices.
