Cancer services staff

Our multi-disciplinary teams include:

  • internationally acclaimed consultant oncologists
  • consultant clinical psychologists
  • clinical nurse specialists
  • chemotherapy nurses
  • pharmacists
  • consultant radiologists (specialists in medical imaging)
  • consultant histopathologists (specialists in the study of tissue samples)
  • therapy staff
  • a palliative (comfort) care consultant
  • access to a wide range of specialist surgical skills and advise

We have strong links with the University of Birmingham. Many of our consultants work for both the Trust and the University. This relationship affords us the ability to be on the cutting edge of clinical trials and pioneering developments in the treatment of cancer.
