Procurement information for companies
There should be a stringent policy for all visits to University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust premises by company representatives. This is to minimise any potential breaches of health and safety and to ensure there is a controlled approach to the implementation of new products to the Trust.
Company representatives are requested to email Andy Harris, Head of Procurement, providing details of their company. There is an ongoing programme of standardisation of equipment and consumables, and the Trust Product Evaluation Group will be involved in prioritising product trials.
