Cycle clinic at QEHB

Story posted/last updated: 14 September 2012

As part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust’s Cycle Safe campaign, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham has teamed up with Halfords to help you stay safe on the roads.

Bring your bike along to the cycle clinic outside the main entrance between 10:00 and 14:00 today (Friday 14 September 2012), where Halfords mechanics will provide free on-the-spot "health checks" on your brakes, gears and tyres. They'll even carry out minor repairs, e.g. punctures, while you wait.

The cycle clinic will also be offering discount vouchers for 20% off Halfords cycle accessories helmets, lights and reflective clothing so there is really no excuse not to be seen and be safe!
