Recruitment and Careers Day
Story posted/last updated: 30 November 2012
If you are interested in a career in healthcare, why not come along to our Recruitment and Careers Day to find out more?
As well as information about our current vacancies for experienced nurses (for wards, theatres and critical care), healthcare assistants, porters and domestics you will be able to find out about the many diverse and exciting career opportunities on offer at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB).
Whether you are a qualified nurse looking for the next challenge, a student deciding a future career path or someone who has never thought about a healthcare career until now, this day is for you.
As well as finding out about our state-of-the-art facilities, you will be able to talk to front line staff from many areas of the Trust including General Nursing, Therapies, Pharmacy, Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Theatres, A&E, Intensive Care, Facilities, Imaging and more. Our in-house staff bank agency, Locate, will be on hand for those interested in a more flexible approach and, for parents, a representative from Busy Bees will advise on the childcare options at their on-site nursery (see link below).
We will give you information on the benefits of working for the Trust, guidance on how to apply and we’ll even help you register on the NHS Jobs website.
The Recruitment Day will be held on Saturday 3 November between 10:00 and 15:00 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. There’s no need to pre-register, just turn up at the main entrance on the day. (Maps available below.)
We look forward to seeing you there.
