Nutrition Nurse Team
The Nutrition Nurse Team at UHB comprises of two specialist nurses who are both registered nurses and one nutrition support worker.
Nutrition nurses work in all areas of the Trust as part of multi-disciplinary teams and have close links with dietitians, medical staff, nurses, pharmacy and other therapy services such as speech and language therapy. The nutrition nurses are also key members of the Nutrition Support Team.
The nutrition nursing team have their own outpatient clinic where they see UHB patients who have been referred to them by doctors, nurses, dietitians or other therapists.
The Nutrition Nurse Team are available Monday - Friday from 08:00 – 16:00 (excluding Bank Holidays). You can contact the team on the number below. There is an answer machine in place if no one is available to take your call.
