Pharmacy information

Pharmacy has an outpatient dispensary at Queen Elizabeth Hospital which dispenses items to admitted patients and outpatients attending clinics who require immediate drug treatment.

The service is delivered by an enthusiastic team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and support staff. In addition the department has pre-registration pharmacy graduates and student technicians.

Pharmacy has close links with all clinical services at UHB. Each clinical area has a lead pharmacist with a dedicated clinical pharmacists working closely with each specialty. Under the management of Inderjit Singh, Chief Pharmacist, the service is constantly striving to create a modern workforce with the aim of improving patient care.
