Quality and Outcomes Research Unit (QuORU)

The Quality and Outcomes Research Unit (QuORU) consists of three main arms:

  • Clinical and Research
    Led by Domenico Pagano, Consultant and Reader in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Statistical
    Led by Nick Freemantle, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at University College London (UCL) and Matthew Richardson, Statistician at UHB
  • Informatics
    Led by Daniel Ray, Director Informatics and Patient Administration

The overall purpose of the QuORU is to agree the specification for and oversee the development and implementation of appropriate quality outcome metrics in each of the specialties at UHB.
