What you can expect from us

• You will receive an induction to prepare you
• You will be given essential items for your placement
• You will be informed of health and safety, confidentiality and infection control procedures
• Your placement will be safe and secure
• You will be given encouragement and support
• You will be treated fairly and equally

What we expect of you

• You must be fully prepared/informed about your placement through an induction
• You must be punctual and reliable – any problems must be reported to your placement supervisor
• You must act in a professional manner at all times
• Appropriate dress is essential – smart uniform unless stated otherwise on induction
• Sensible shoes must be worn – no trainers or open toes
• Jewellery must be kept to a minimum
• If make-up is worn it should be worn in an appropriate manner
• You must maintain confidentiality at all times
• You must wear a visible ID badge at all times
