X-ray
X-ray is located in the Imaging department on level 0 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB).
How to find the Imaging department
- Enter the hospital via the main entrance
- Turn right at the information desk
- Go through the double doors and turn left down the main corridor
- Continue along the corridor until you reach Imaging and Nuclear Medicine on your right

Opening times
09:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday only (excluding bank holidays)
Please note, if you are being referred for a barium, CT, MRI or ultrasound examination, a request form will be sent directly to the X-ray department via your GP. On receipt we will send appointment details directly to you.
