    Dr Don Sims, Consultant Geriatrician/Stroke Physician and Clinical Service Lead for Stroke Medicine

    Graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1996 and was appointed consultant geriatrician and stroke physician in 2007. He is the clinical lead for stroke medicine and his main research interest is in the treatment of acute stroke.

    Consultant neurologist with a sub-specialty interest in stroke. His interests involve the role of nitric oxide in the pathophysiology of stroke, patent foramen ovale in young stroke, blood pressure and the management of acute stroke.
