An interpreting service is available for both in-patients and out-patients for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) patients.
A large variety of languages are available through a booking system which can be accessed via telephone or email.
All bookings require a minimum of 24hrs notice to arrange an interpreter to be present for your appointment. The following information is required to process all requests:
- patients full name
- patients hospital number
- exact time and date of required session
- exact location of required session
- speciality of appointment
We also provide an Interpreting Telephone Service which can be accessed within QEHB via Staff.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
