UHB to hold Annual General Meeting

Story posted/last updated: 09 September 2019

Members of the public are invited to attend the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 26 September at 18:00.

The meeting will give people the chance to find out what was achieved in 2018–19, what the challenges were and how the Trust has performed.

This year’s AGM will look at the first year for UHB as an enlarged Trust, following the merger by acquisition with the former Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust in April 2018.

UHB runs Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic.

UHB Chair Rt. Hon. Jacqui Smith said: “Across our hospital sites and services, our staff continued to focus on building healthier lives and we have a lot of success to report and celebrate.

“Our AGM gives us the opportunity to share the progress we’ve made in the last year and to respond to questions and comments.”

The meeting will be held in the Education Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
