The Patient Advice Information and Discussion Audiology Group (PANDA)

PANDA is the Audiology focused Patient and Public Involvement group (PPI) at UHB. PANDA was set up in 2018 and this PPI group has assisted in shaping much of the research and service development in the Audiology and Ophthalmology departments at UHB.

Prior to COVID-19, the group met four times per year. Here, you can share your experiences and work with clinical staff and researchers to improve clinical care and facilitate research for people living with hearing loss.

If you are a PANDA member, it is not mandatory to attend all sessions. You are free to drop in and out of the meeting depending on your interest in the agenda.

If you are interested in being part of the PANDA research group, or if you are an academic or clinician who would be interesting in presenting to a patient group, please contact the research team by phone or e-mail.
