Getting to work webinar

Hosted on Zoom, the getting to work webinar takes place every two months and provides updates on transport, parking and other factors that impact your journey to and from work.

Open to all staff, team briefs, CEO Connected and getting to work webinars webinars are held on Zoom. Links have been sent to all Trust calendars. If you don't have yours, please email the Communications team.

Join one or join them all to get site-specific or Trust-wide information.

Your weekly electronic UHB news round-up is delivered to your Trust email account every Thursday. Send news items to Communications by 09:30 on Wednesday to be included in that week's bulletin.

UHB Connected

The printed staff newspaper that bring news tailored to each of our hospital sites. UHB Connected is available at various locations across Good Hope, Heartlands, Queen Elizabeth and Solihull hospitals, and some of our satellite sites. You can also download the latest version online.

UHB intranet

Check your intranet for information from across the Trust, including:

  • discounts and staff benefits
  • getting to work
  • on-site facilities
  • personal finances and pensions

Open Chrome or Edge on your Trust PC to view the intranet.

Staff networks

Staff networks help staff to connect, socialise, support each other and discuss issues relevant to their communities.

Networks include:

  • BAME
  • carers
  • disability and long-term conditions
  • LGBT+
  • mental health and well-being
  • neurodiversity
  • women
  • young people

The networks are run by, and for, members with support from the Inclusion team. For further information, please email the team.

Building Healthier Teams

Good news doesn’t always travel as fast as it should, but at UHB there's a wide range of ways to share and celebrate your team’s successes. Email your good news or suggestions on what you would like to see featured in our news to the Communications team.
