Back to coronavirus information

As of Monday 29 June 2020, the Trust started running some outpatient clinics at the Resorts World Arena at the NEC.

The Arena forms part of the Birmingham and Solihull Health Campus set up by Birmingham and Solihull CCG.

Repurposing part of this Health Campus will enable the Trust to treat patients who would otherwise not be seen immediately on its hospital sites due to restricted clinics which accommodate social distancing and reduce footfall.

The outpatient clinics will see up to 150 patients per day, covering 18 services, including ultrasound diagnostics and anticoagulation. This additional capacity will allow the Trust to be able to see and treat thousands more local people in a safe and timely way, as it continues to respond to the challenges of COVID-19.

If you have an appointment at Resorts World Arena, please follow the directions in your letter and read the "COVID-19: Advice for patients" sheet which will come with it.
