Dr Aarn Huissoon, Consultant Immunologist based at Heartlands Hospital

Absolutely everyone, including myself, has had questions and worries about the COVD-19 vaccination. It's a pity if people don't get vaccinated because they have had incomplete or inaccurate information, so I'm really keen to put that right where I can.

Dr Adrian Shields, Clinical Lecturer in Immunology at both UHB and the University of Birmingham

I have helped to run studies about COVID-19 infection and vaccination in health care workers, as well as in immune-compromised patients. I'd be happy to use this experience and knowledge to help answer any questions about how the vaccines work to protect you and those around you from COVID-19.

Dr Srabani Mukherjee, Consultant Obstetrician and Maternal Specialist in Birmingham

I have worked for the NHS for 18 years, caring for some really high risk pregnant women, but very rarely have I had to go to the Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU) to see my patients before.

This has all changed with COVID-19. I have been to ITU more times than I can remember since the start of the pandemic. It is shocking to see pregnant women fighting for their lives.

Vaccination is important, it helps protect you and your baby. Please don't put it off, or take the risk of not getting your vaccinations, book yours today.
