Incorrectly packaged samples causing confusion

The Laboratory is receiving blood science (biochemistry, haematology and blood transfusion) samples in blue microbiology bags from ITU and ED at Good Hope and Heartlands.

This is causing significant confusion and potential delays to results, as blue microbiology bags are transported to QEHB for analysis.

Please ensure you are packaging the correct samples in the correct bags to avoid unnecessary delays.
