Dr Gillian LoweConsultant Haematologist
Gill is a Consultant Haematologist specialising in haemostasis and thrombosis. She did her medical degree in Cambridge and moved to Birmingham in 2006 for specialist haematology training. Her PhD was on inherited platelet disorders. Gill's interests include teaching and clinical research, and she sits on several national committees in these areas. In 2022, she was appointed National Haematology Specialty Lead at the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR). She is a Trustee for two charities that represent patients with bleeding disorders.
