Janet CairnsSutton Coldfield North
Janet was a registered nurse who progressed to a director who reported to the board at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Janet now works as an independent interim consultant predominantly in the NHS and public sector. She is a local community activist sitting as a trustee on several local charities/enterprises and founded the Sutton Coldfield Disability Action Group. She is also a Sutton Coldfield Town Councillor who leads on the council’s health and social care agenda.
Janet is particularly interested in supporting the secondary and primary care interface development of the integrated care system/location hubs and is passionate about the importance of a community wrap-around approach to enable health and social care joint working resulting in care based for our patients carried out nearer to their homes.
Janet is very well placed to bring the NHS and the community together and has experience of working in partnership on behalf of the NHS on significant strategic projects in her career.
