Martin has been a teacher in London, a School Improvement Adviser in Birmingham and Chief Inspector for Schools in Lewisham LA.
He enjoyed serving the people of Moseley for eleven years as a ward councillor. He supported council committees including Licensing, Planning and Commonwealth Games. He was also a Cabinet Advisor for Corporate Parenting and Governor Champion for the City.
Martin has a strong commitment to the environment and biodiversity, a sustainable future for Birmingham and a healthy future for children, families and communities.
