International Fellowships

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) International Fellowship provides a full-time, one or two year structured training programme in a range of clinical specialties.

Fellows extend their understanding and gain a broad range of experience working alongside some of Europe’s leading consultants, clinicians and researchers. Through a co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary approach, a Fellow gains a thorough understanding of the treatment of patients in his or her chosen speciality.

Fellows develop the skills to perform relevant procedures as part of a supervised personal development plan. The programme examines the key scientific tools as they apply to the treatment and management of patients.

Since it was launched in 2010, the Fellowship programme has continued to expand and QEHB accepts a regular intake of trainees from all over the world, including Pakistan, Oman, Saudi Arabia and India.

Some Fellowships lead to a Masters degree whilst others are certified by the Royal College.
