New NHS App features to support UHB patients

Published on 20/09/2022

The NHS App is fast becoming the digital "front door" to the NHS, with more than half a million Birmingham and Solihull residents signed up.

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is one of a number of trusts across England whose patients can now use the app to view all of their primary and secondary care appointments in one place, see a single point of contact for their appointments, and request a change or cancellation.

If you already use the DrDoctor portal to manage your UHB appointments, you can continue to use this, or use the NHS App. If you have opted to receive paper appointment letters, this won’t change.

For more information, including how to download the NHS App, please visit the app page on the NHS website.
