Train in a station

Changes to trains serving QEHB

Story posted/last updated: 20 October 2016

London Midland are implementing a temporary 'leaf fall' timetable effective from Monday 24 October 2016 to Saturday 10 December 2016.

The intention is to mitigate the impact of any delays caused by slippery rail conditions as a result of seasonal leaf fall. The timetable, affecting services on the Cross-City line which serves the hospital via University station, will mean that not all trains will stop at every station. As a result, some stations will have fewer services than normal.

University station itself will continue to receive the full number of normal services, however anyone travelling to or from the station on the line is advised to check before travelling.

The full London Midland press release can be viewed on their website. They have also created a dedicated 'leaf fall' section on their website with full details on the changes.
