South Asian Heritage Month

The theme for this year's South Asian Heritage Month celebrations at UHB is "journeys of empire", which most of us can relate to in one way or another.

Due to current circumstances in our hospitals, celebrations for the month will run throughout August. Nevertheless, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to take part, which you are encouraged to do if possible.

Get involved with the celebrations

Help us spread the word about all we are doing to recognise and celebrate South Asian Heritage Month. We have developed materials for you to download and use.

Included are an MS Teams background and some blank poster templates for you to add your own messages to. So, why not print out the poster and write a note for your team, telling them about the upcoming events each week?

If you print anything to display anything in a clinical area, please ensure it's laminated, in line with the Trust’s infection, prevention and control guidance.
