The Trust’s new book club is taking part in the events to mark South Asian Heritage Month, with the title of the book read in August being written by a South Asian author about the experiences of these communities.
The book club will bring colleagues together every month to read a book of interest to the group, with the aim to learn from other’s experiences through literature.
Each month there will be a different theme, and colleagues will be able to vote from a selection of books for the group to read that month.
By joining the book club, you will be able to communicate throughout the month with other members via a dedicated MS Teams channel, before coming together at the end of the month for a virtual video discussion about that month’s book.
Copies of the chosen book, in print and electronic versions, will be made available by UHB Library.
