Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB)
- Echo for transplant & LVAD assessment
- Six minute walking tests and shuttle walking tests
- Cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET)
Cross-site services
- Pacemaker, cardiac defibrillator and cardiac resynchronisation therapy implant and follow up at QEHB and Good Hope Hospital (GHH)
Invasive cardiology
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) at QEHB and Birmingham Heartlands Hospital (BHH)
- Structural interventions including adult congenital heart disease and trans-aortic valve implantation at QEHB
- Implantable cardioverter defibrillator and cardiac resynchronisation therapy implantation at QEHB and Good Hope Hospital (GHH)
- Electrophysiology studies and ablation for supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia at QEHB
- Cardiac biopsy at QEHB
- Mechanical circulatory support device implant, including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump at QEHB and BHH
- Cardiopulmonary exercise testing at QEHB and BHH
