We are part of University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust which is recognised as one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK. As a service we facilitate and support students at both undergraduate and pre-registration masters placements from both the University of Birmingham and Coventry University. When you are on a placement with us, you will gain experience in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in a community outpatient setting. There will also be opportunities for you to shadow services we are linked to including:
- First contact practitioners
- Spinal triage service
- Injection service
- Orthopedic triage service
Work Experience
For those over the age of 17, we offer the chance to shadow University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) physiotherapy staff.
