The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH) and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) offer a combined 12 month advanced training fellowship in spinal surgery.
The combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical fellowship is suitable for post-certificate of completion of training (CCT) or equivalent trainees in neurosurgery or orthopaedics.
Appointees are given six month rotations at the ROH and QEHB to gain a comprehensive experience in the breadth of spinal surgery.
Fellowship recruitment
Recruitment for fellowships starting in the summers of 2022 and 2023 has closed.
The next round of recruitment will take place in the autumn/winter of 2023 and will be for fellowships starting in the summers of 2024 and 2025.
