General preventative advice
Last updated: 04 February 2025 at 14:25
To help combat the spread of any virus or bacteria, there are the following main pieces of advice:
Catch it. Bin it. Kill it.
It may seem obvious but this does help limit the spread of bacteria or viruses. If you have a cold, are sneezing or coughing use a tissue, put it in the bin and wash your hands.
Also avoid touching your eyes, mouth or nose if you haven’t washed your hands recently.
