The average waits time for colonoscopy investigations (in weeks) in the year 2022 for patients on a non-urgent pathway (i.e. people not on the suspected cancer pathway

Response

Please note, only patients on a routine pathway, where the colonoscopy was performed as a day-case were included. Routine planned patients undergoing a planned sequence of care have been excluded.

The average weeks wait was calculated based on the difference between the date the patient was added to the waiting list and the date the procedure was performed.
