Questions
- Do all hospitals in your Trust have a reporting system for sexual misconduct? If the answer is ‘no’, please share how many hospitals within your Trust do have a reporting system for sexual misconduct and how many do not.
- If some or all of the hospitals in your Trust have a reporting system for sexual misconduct, please outline the reporting system.
- If none or not all of the hospitals in your Trust have a reporting system for sexual misconduct, please outline what a Trust staff member should do if they are a victim of sexual misconduct and another Trust staff member is the perpetrator.
Response
- The Trust has a central procedure and system for reporting of sexual misconduct.
- Staff can raise concerns regarding sexual misconduct via the Trust’s Dignity at Work procedure by raising a complaint with HR, or reporting the incident via the Trust’s central incident reporting system (Datix). These are the main routes in which they can raise their concerns; however there are other routes, such as the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, Confidential Contacts or Inclusion and Wellbeing Teams.
