Young people (11 to 26) with a mental health diagnosis

Questions

Request:  How many young people aged 11 to 25 inclusive presented in hospital with a mental health diagnosis in calendar years 2019, 2021 and 2023?

 

Please include diagnoses with the following ICD-10 codes in any diagnostic position:

  • F20-29: Schizophrenia, schizotypal and delusional disorders
  • F30-39: Mood disorders
  • F40-49: Neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders
  • F50-59: Behavioural syndromes associated with physiological disturbances and physical factors
  • F60-69: Disorders of adult personality and behaviour
  • F90-98: Behavioural and emotional disorders with onset usually occurring in childhood and adolescence
  • F99: Unspecified mental disorder
  • G47: Disorders of initiating and maintaining sleep [insomnias]
  • Z91.5: Personal history of self-harm
