I am trying to understand the level of clinical trials activity that is taking place in the UK.

1. Can you tell me how many commercial clinical trials have been taking place in this Trust during the calendar year of 2023?
   
   This could be completed trials, or trials that are ongoing. When I say “commercial trials” I mean trials that are funded or sponsored by a commercial company such as a pharmaceutical company.

During the calendar year of 2023, there was 290 commercial trials taking place at UHB.
