COVID-19 booster vaccinations

COVID-19 booster vaccinations help to protect against severe illness, hospitalisation and death from the virus.

People who received an autumn booster vaccine last year are around 53% less likely to go to the hospital after getting vaccinated, compared to those who didn't get a booster.

All UHB colleagues are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster vaccination.

Simply please ensure you take along your ID badge to one of the hospital vaccination hubs.

COVID-19 booster vaccinations will not be available on the wards. This vaccination programme is delivered by the Birmingham and Solihull COVID-19 Vaccination Service.

135 pharmacies in the community in Birmingham and Solihull will also provide booster vaccinations, therefore if it is more convenient to get vaccinated closer to home, please visit the Birmingham and Solihull COVID-19 Vaccination Service website for more information.
