Lorraine Harper is Professor of Nephrology within the Institute of Applied Health Research, at the University of Birmingham. She is a strong advocate for academic training, helping to develop the integrated academic training pathway for junior clinical researchers in Birmingham, and is extensively involved in delivering the Medical School’s undergraduate curriculum.
She is an enthusiastic communicator on the theme of translational research and frequently gives talks to audiences at both local and national levels.
