Good Hope Hospital serves North Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and a large part of south east Staffordshire, including Burntwood, Lichfield and Tamworth. The catchment population is about 450,000.

The hospital provides acute and general medicine and other specialist services including the Partnership Learning Centre, which is part-funded by the Medical School of the University of Birmingham.
