Fiona AlexanderDirector of Communications
Fiona Alexander joined the Trust as Director of Communications in 2006, following 20 years in the media, latterly as editor of the regional newspaper The Birmingham Post. Her portfolio also includes patient and public involvement, staff and patient experience, complaints, Patient Advice and Liaison Services and interpreting.
Prior to moving to the NHS, she was Business Development Director (Midlands) for Trinity Mirror plc, the then largest publisher in Europe, editor of the Sunday Mercury, and assistant editor of MATCH football magazine.
Fiona has recently been appointed as Trustee of UHB Charity.
