Jacynth IveyNon-Executive Director
Jacynth has more than 20 years’ experience of direct clinical practice, as a former nurse, midwife, health visitor and Executive Director of Nursing and Clinical Services.
She has held a number of non-executive and trustee positions in health, education and the voluntary sector.
In addition to her role as a Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Jacynth is the owner of Inspiring Hope.
This supports individuals, teams and organisations to develop an holistic approach to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into organisational systems.
Jacynth is also a stakeholder member of the NHS Race and Health Observatory. Her interests and ambitions are to build organisational cultures that value diversity and inclusion, which foster high quality care and equitable outcomes for all.
