Over the past 20 years Mo has worked across NHS provider sectors including acute, specialist paediatrics, mental health and community services.
His experiences draw from achievements in strategy and business development (including at a system level), service transformation and reconfiguration, assurance and risk management, complex programme management and service acquisition and integration planning.
As Chief Quality Officer at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW), Mo lead the quality and corporate governance agendas and was the nominated individual for the CQC and SIRO for the Trust.
He also had executive responsibility for the digital agenda and was the lead on the implementation of the new electronic patient record system and worked with partners to develop innovative models of care enabled through technology including AI.
Mo realises his passion for quality improvement by supporting the IHI Quality Leadership Programme as well as being the regional Chair for the Midlands Neurosurgery Operational Delivery Network.
