What will I be paid?
Pay rates will be consistent with the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust bank rates for registered nurses, healthcare assistants, porters, administrative and facilities staff. Unsocial enhancements will also apply where shift patterns require it.
Is this a permanent job?
You will be a temporary worker working through University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. Your bank contract will still remain in place after the COVID-19 pandemic.

What technology do I need to apply for the role?
NHS jobs can be accessed through computer, tablet or phone. All interviews will be conducted through a video link that can be set up on all the above.
Will I be safe?
The nature of COVID-19, and the environment that staff will be working in, obviously does put individuals at a higher risk. In these roles you will always work under the supervision and guidance of senior qualified clinicians. Strict health and safety and infection protection will be in place and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided for all staff working at any of the sites at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, including NHS Nightingale Birmingham, when and where is appropriate As with any hospital that cares for patients with infectious diseases, we will be committed and adhere to the strictest infection control policies and appropriate training to best protect and mitigate risk in line with NHS Health Governance standards.
