Dr Asima JavedConsultant Gastroenterologist
Dr Javed graduated from Foundation University Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and pursued postgraduate training in the North West of England from 2014 to 2018. Building on this strong foundation, Dr Javed completed specialist training in Gastroenterology from the West Midlands between 2018 and 2024.
With a focus on luminal Gastroenterology, Dr Javed has developed advanced expertise in the management of Inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Javed routinely performs diagnostic and emergency gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
Dr Javed is deeply committed to enhancing patient care through service development, clinical innovation, and research. Dr Javed’s particular passion lies in complex Inflammatory bowel disease management, and actively contributes to cutting-edge IBD research trials, aiming to improve long-term outcomes for patients.
