Orchard and gardens

From wildflowers, growing fruit, beekeeping and woodland walks, the Community Orchard and Gardens project aims to improve areas across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) campus for use by the local community, patients, visitors and staff.

The project brings together organisations, charities and businesses as partners to help ensure the improvement and activity on over 16,000m2 of land remains sustainable.

The Community Orchard and Gardens also incorporate a Metchley Roman Fort which is an English Heritage Scheduled Ancient Monument.
