Having served as a private investigator since 1977, a director of the then Mercia Detective Agency (MDA), John still handles cases for other agencies that have no coverage in the areas of interest. His main considerations are of a security nature, although he is a trained first aider and advanced bleeding control.
As a director with ample staff at MDA, John was able to follow his passion of humanitarian work. This involved obtaining a 38 tonne artic and transporting items to orphanages in Romania and to the then war-torn Croatia.
In 1995 he became a member of The Salvation Army International Disaster Team, working in logistics within war-torn Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, and a training period in Kansas (USA) during the tornado season.
Back in Investigation work, John have travelled and handled insurance claims investigation in Pakistan, Europe and Antigua.
He is a member of the PCC at St Mathews Church, Perry Beeches and is also a choir member and a member of the Deanery Synod. John is coordinator for West Midlands Police “StreetWatch” for Oscott South.
