Olga Leach-Walters is an experienced Endoscopy Nurse, WRES Expert, and Equity Advocate at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB). She brings together clinical care and strategic leadership, delivering safe, compassionate care within her clinical work while also playing a key role in shaping a fairer, more inclusive NHS workforce.
As Staff Side Secretary, Olga represents all staff-side unions, working to ensure that the voices of healthcare workers are heard and acted upon. She also co-chairs the UHB REACH Network and supports colleagues through complex workplace challenges, contributing to investigations and driving forward positive change.
Olga is Passionate about justice, fairness, and creating opportunities for others, she is deeply committed to building a healthcare system where everyone feels seen, valued, and able to thrive.
