Councillor Ken HawkinsSolihull Metropolitan Borough Council
Ken is Cabinet Member for Environment and Infrastructure at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and has been a council member for 23 years.
Retiring as a police inspector at West Midlands Police he lectured at Solihull College before devoting his full time to council duties, including a year as Mayor of Solihull in 2012.
Ken has been a governor at Monkspath Junior and Infant School for 36 years and served as a governor for several years at Forest Oak/Merstone Special Schools.
Previously a keen sportsman, Ken is a member of Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Birmingham and Solihull RFU.
