Good Hope Hospital and Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council have organised a health talk for the local community and UHB members.

The free talk, from 13:30-14:30, is called Building Healthier Lives in Sutton Coldfield – being ‘falls prepared’ and will offer a chance to listen to clinical experts on the topic of falls and mobility and ask questions.

Experts Julie Hunter, Group Director for Allied Health Professionals (AHP’s) at UHB and Hospital Director for AHP’s at Good Hope Hospital, and Lorraine Garratty, Therapy Lead in Healthcare for Older People at Good Hope Hospital, will be delivering the talk.

There will also be an opportunity to try GaitSmart ™, an innovative, motion-sensor, gait analysis, which offers personalised exercise plans to help improve mobility.

The talk takes place at the Trinity Centre, Church Hill, Mill St, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1TF. Parking is available on site and the venue is easily accessible from both the railway station and nearby bus stops. Refreshments will be available.
