Traffic alert for QEHB patients ahead of Ozzy Osbourne funeral

Patients travelling to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) are advised to expect travel disruption in and around Birmingham city centre on Wednesday 30 July.

Large numbers of people will gather in Birmingham to honour to bid farewell to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne on his final journey.

If you have an appointment or will be travelling to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, please be aware of expected travel disruption in and around Birmingham city centre. Buses and trams will be diverted. 

This is especially relevant if your route takes you via Broad Street as it will be closed from 07:00 until approximately 14:00.

The cortege will travel down Broad Street from approximately 13:00 towards the  Black Sabbath Bridge.

Broad Street will be closed to through traffic from 07:00 and buses and trams will be diverted during this time.
